AdvisorPPC Shield
Shield finds paid clicks that look invalid, such as bots, data centres and repeat clickers, and keeps them out of your Google Ads campaigns. Through Claude you can review what Shield saw and decide which IP addresses to exclude.
1. Connect Shield to Claude
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add Shield from the directory, or add a custom connector with this URL:
https://shield.advisorppc.com/shield/mcp - Sign in with your AdvisorPPC account (or create one). Shield opens your private workspace and asks you to allow Claude. There is no client ID, secret or passcode to copy.
- Claude now holds a token for your Shield workspace only. You can disconnect it in Claude at any time.
2. Install the site tag
Ask Claude for your tag (shield_tracking_snippet) and paste it into every page your ads send people to, ideally in the page head:
<script src="https://shield.advisorppc.com/shield/v1/s.js?k=YOUR_SITE_KEY" async></script>
The tag records each ad click and how the visit behaves, so Shield can score it. What it collects is listed in the Shield section of our privacy policy. Tell your visitors about it in your own privacy notice and cookie banner where your law requires.
3. Connect Google Ads
Ask Claude to connect Google Ads. Shield returns a one-time link to Google's own sign-in, where you approve access. Then choose the account to protect (manager accounts work). Shield never sees your Google password.
4. Review and sync exclusions
- Ask "which clicks this week look fraudulent and why?" Claude reads the scored clicks and their reasons.
- Every change previews first. Excluding, removing and syncing IP addresses show exactly what would change and change nothing until you confirm in the conversation.
- A sync adds the queued addresses to the IP exclusions of your Google Ads campaigns. Remove an address with
shield_remove_exclusionif you change your mind.
5. Microsoft Advertising
Microsoft's API does not accept IP exclusions from applications, so Shield gives you a paste-ready list instead. Ask for your Bing status and paste the list into the IP exclusions of your Microsoft Advertising campaigns.

How Shield handles your visitors' click data is in the privacy policy; use of the service is governed by our terms. Questions or data requests: [email protected].
